Since January 20, 2025 – the Trump DICTATORSHIP has proven that maxim, often far below the public radar. Below are SOME of the at least 18 lawsuits Public Citizen has filed against the Trump DICTATORSHIP by November 10.
1] “Stopping Trump from using taxpayer resources for partisan purposes; AFGE. v. Department of Education, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, October 3, 2025. Background & why the case is important: “When the government shut down on October 1, 2025, most civilian federal workers were placed in furlough status… Employees at thre Department of Education discovered..the agency changed their out-of-office emails to include language blaming “Democratic Senators” for the shutdown.
2] “Stopping Trump from dismantling the Consumer Financial Protections Bureau: NTEU, Et Al. v. Vought, Et Al., U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, February 13, 2025. Background & why this case is important: After Trump vowed to ‘totally eliminate” the Consumer protection Bureau [CFPB], OMB director Russell Vought set out to make good on that promise. The CFPB, which has recovered billions of dollars for American consumers, cannot be dismantled without Congressional action.” [NOTE: YOUR clue is “Recovered billions of dollars” for Americans like YOU. Question: why would an American govt that cared about YOU kill this agency?????????]
3]. “Protecting worker health: National Nurses united, Et Al. v. Kennedy, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, May 14, 2025. Background & why the case is important: Trump and Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. are trying to dismantle the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health [NIOSH], the country’s premier authority on occupational safety and health, protecting workers in high-risk industries…Among other things, NIOSH screens miners for black lung disease, provides medical monitoring to September 11 first responders and evaluates the safety of worksite protective gear…” [NOTE ; Ask YOURSELF – why would an American govt that cared for its people dismantle this agency?????????]

Background & why the case is important: With an abrupt freeze on foreign assistance funding, the Trump administration halted lifesaving work around the globe, undermined vital U.S. interests and cost thousands of Americans their jobs.” [NOTE: our adversaries have already cashed in. This has, WILL. damage America’s image around the world. The world’s richest country has now turned its back on the world.]
5]. “Ending Trump’s gag order on public health agencies: Doctors For America v. Office of Personnel Management, Et Al., U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, February 4, 2025. Background & why the case is important: Putting politics, conspiracy theories and reactionary ideology ahead of the wellbeing of the American people, the administration ordered the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Food and Drug Administration and the Department of Health & Human Services to remove from their websites a broad range of public health information vital to physicians, clinics, public health officials and patients.” [NOTE: likely THE perfect example of the Trump DICTATORSHIP’s. monumental cruelty and utter disregard for its own population]
6] “Protecting civil liberties in immigration proceedings: Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights. v. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, April 24, 2025. Background & why the case is important: The Trump administration closed the Department of Homeland Security’s Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman Office and Office of Immigrant Detention Ombudsman because they “obstructed immigration enforcement by adding bureaucratic hurdles and undermining DHS’s mission.” In other words, following the law and protecting rights is inconvenient for the administration.”

Americans can’t keep up with all the criminalities, cruelties, craziness committed by the Trump DICTATORSHIP. That is part of their strategy – to. “flood the zone” with so many outrages, YOU can’t keep up. In the meantime, Trump, his cronies, his powerful wealthy donors and backers – the richer. It has been estimated that Trump alone, is, in less than a year, become about $3 billion richer!!!!!!!!!

– 12/19/25: “Trump sets goals for ending citizenship.” “Immigration officers are given a. MONTHLY. QUOTA for denaturalizations.” [And we know from past actions, the Trump DICTATORSHIP. will, if it can’t find REAL evidence, make it up. – for people it doesn’t like.]
