When you were in the Marines, you took this oath: “I, Mike XYZ, solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic…”
An internet site says: “The oath binds military personnel to a life-long commitment to American foundational principles and not to a specific leader, party or person.”
SO – YOU took a solemn oath, a ‘LIFE-LONG COMMITMENT”. to support and defend the U.S. Constitution. “against ALL enemies foreign and DOMESTIC..”
Would leaving the United States because of your current despair over Trump DICTATORSHIP words and actions uphold that “life-long commitment”?
You and your wife have proudly marched against this DICTATORSHIP. You and your wife have proudly joined neighborhood groups working against this DICTATORSHIP. Is this it? Are you done?
Mike, this site asks you to stay. Asks you to continue working against the Trump DICTATORSHIP. Asks you to think of ways to use your skills to mobilize other Americans, mobilize other Marines against the Trump DICTATORSHIP.
