The “right wing” [R-Ws] justify their cruelty, corruption, lies in many ways. Some claim they are “Christians,” and therefore this ends discussion. They are “proven” “correct” by THEIR [often selective] reading of a particular holy book. Since their “mission” is to “save” the “sinners,” the end justifies ANY means – which includes, force and violence, either physical or legal.

Others offer selective interps of “classical” economic theories, often Adam Smith. They forget, ignore, “Wealth of Nations” was Smith’s SECOND major work. Smith himself believed his first, “The Theory of Moral Sentiments,” was THE superior work.
“Moral Sentiments” discussed achieving “mutual sympathy of sentiments” – that one developed a conscience by observing others, which enabled him to develop habits, principles, behaviors – which became his conscience.

It is said the “Christian Bible” has 2-3000 references to the poor and duties to them. It is also said the founder of Christianity offered his #l principle as: You shall love your neighbor as you love yourself.
It can be observed that many “Christians” seem to have not heard these things – because policies politicians have enacted, as self-proclaimed “Christians,” many times show no love for anybody outside their circles. Example #l – the Republican reverse Robin Hood 1980s, 2000s, 2017 tax cuts for the rich and corporations.
The public theory of justification was; the “trickle down effect.” Showering reduced tax benefits on the richest people and most powerful corporations would “trickle down” to the lower classes. Something did trickle down, but it wasn’t green – it was a foul yellow.

Those justifying tax cuts for the most economically blessed didn’t want to talk about what Adam Smith said about taxes: “The subjects of every state ought to contribute towards the support of government, as nearly as possible, in proportion to their respective abilities; that is in proportion to the revenue which they respectively enjoy under the protection of the state.”

The LIES of the R-Ws never cease – they have much to lie about.

The first, most important LIE; they are “conservatives.” This is false – they are rapidly moving to “reactionaries.” Some observers go further – to “fascists.” “Conservatives” would embrace the Founder’s principles: “all Men are created equal,” the Pursuit of Happiness” [for all]; the REQUIREMENT to “establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility..promote the general Welfare..”
They have NOT done this, increasingly since 1980. They DON’T want to do this – there are far too many Americans who are “undeserving” and “sinners.” The top 1% sincerely believe they have “earned their riches all by themselves.” To share THEIR wealth with the “undeserving” is an “unfair” request, a “burden on their freedom.” They have funded reactionary “think tanks” to create plausible LIES to justify their greed. They’ve also funded “training sessions” for judges by “The Foundation for Research on Economics and the Environment” [“FREE”].
Since 1992, 1/4 of federal court chief judges have attended a program – which involves “free market solutions” and opposition to the “takings clause.” Ethical questions have been raised about when corporations bring cases into the courts of these very same “trained” judges.

The second, equally important, BIG. LIE. is the post-1968 American system of “justice.” Many have said it isn’t. It has been said often there are two systems of “justice”; one for the rich and connected [who never go to jail, plead not guilty while paying big fines]; and the judicial system for the rest. From the Nixon Administration forward, the Repubs/R-Ws have emphasized CONTROLLING THE JUDICIARY. Many/most of their nominees characterized by being young and R-W ideologues [who occasionally surprise with fair decisions]. Some of the recent nominees have been spectacularly unqualified.

Nixon set the tone when he told an aide his nominee would make Repubs happy because he was “a reactionary bastard.” The judge spent years honoring that label. Judicial Republican hopefuls must clear vetting by a reactionary legal group and “social conservatives.”
Once on the bench, they are “expected” to deliver the “correct” ideological decisions [which is WHY they are there – on the Repubs/R-W “conveyor belt” of “justice’] If these carefully screened “judges” fail to deliver, they’ll be met with a firestorm of criticism for their “treachery.” They risk falling to the depths of ex-Repub favorites, like Justices O’Connor and Souter. The Repub/R-W mantra is now “no more Souters, no more O’Connors.

The third, always-in-the-news. BIG LIE is the Repubs/R-W “grievance”list, an ever-expanding claim of things R-Ws assert have “gone wrong” in America. This list includes:
– guns – R-Ws claim we don’t have enough of them, they aren’t free enough to carry them wherever they want; the rest of America has falsely interpreted the Second Amendment in a diabolical pinko-commie-lib plot cheating them of their “2nd Amendment rights”
– abortion – R-Ws claim the “Christian Bible” justifies eliminating ALL abortions; they are profoundly angered that 2/3 of Americans don’t accept this; angered that other Christians disagree with them; angered that leaders of non-Christian faiths explain THEIR faith allow an abortion choice
– gays – R-Ws claim gays, about 3-10% of the population, should not have full American rights; justification for this is supposedly found in the Christian Bible; R-Ws are angered these “sub-humans” are allowed to marry and adopt kids
– elections – R-Ws are convinced the 2020 election was “stolen” from their champion [a 7 million vote loser!]; are disbelieving their champion lost 60 court cases; disbelieving ALL recounts show he lost fairly
– COVID – R-Ws were/are adamant forcing them to wear face masks in a PANDEMIC was a “violation of their Constitutional rights”; to prove this point they beat up airline personnel and store clerks; getting a vaccine in a PANDEMIC was also a “violation of their rights’; to prove that they died; R-Ws dying of COVID in hospitals refused to believe it
– evolution – R-Ws often don’t accept the BASIS for modern medicine and science; their schools often teach against it, or they offer caveats in public school curriculum; that COVID is EVOLVING – and more dangerous – is irrelevant
– taxes – the default position for R-Ws is “tax cuts.” Tax cuts will solve ALL problems, including COVID. That the bottom 90-95% has been victimized by these is irrelevant – it is an article of faith; that Reagan HAD to raise taxes ignored
– corruption – R-Ws believed their champion would “Drain the Swamp” – that he INCREASED the size of the swamp ignored; ALL the most corrupt presidential administrations were Republican [Grant, Harding, Nixon, Reagan, Bush II, Trump]; Repubs have defunded government so it CAN’T work; Repubs are BIG on cutting regulations on big business
– religious rights – “supreme court” support for R-W “religious rights” has increased in recent Repub-dominated “supreme courts”; Repub “justices” are rewriting the Constitution and Bill of Rights to give fundamentalist churches virtually ANYTHING they ask for: “get-out-of-jail cards to discriminate, dodge rules, get taxpayer money
-environment – R-Ws don’t like environmental regulations – because it often imposes burdens on Big Business [their DONORS111]; creative [manufactured] “cases” are run up the Repub’s “conveyor belt” of “trained” judges [who are EXPECTED to deliver the “correct” “market-based” decisions
– immigration – R-Ws believe America is “full”; they’ve been trained to believe recent immigrants [NOT them!!!] are criminals, drug dealers, free loaders; they’ve forgotten ALL except Native-Americans are immigrants

The fourth BIG LIE – You should elect Republicans – because they’ll “solve” all of America’s problems and many more “problems” you don’t even know about; YOU should elect Republicans because they are “The obviously more moral and righteous” candidates.

The January 6, 2021, “tourists” who trashed the Capitol, injured 140 law enforcement personnel, and tried ending American democracy – wanted to hang Mike Pence and Nancy Pelosi.

The British, in 1775-1781, wanted to hang the 56 signers of TheDeclaration of Independence, were actively seeking to capture them – and hang them all, including Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Benjamin Rush, James Wilson; and most likely, the commanding general of the rebel army – George Washington.

Those 57 men, and many others, were designated as “traitors.” Had the British won, they’d have been prosecuted as such. Like Nathan Hale.

There is little difference between what the British wanted to do in 1776 and what the “tourists” wanted to do January 6, 2021 – end American democracy.

Calling the January 6 rioters and planners “patriots” is an insult to all true Americans. The “Watergate crisis” was ended by the BIPARTISAN efforts of PRINCIPLED people. The January 6 insurrection has NOT. YET. BEEN. ENDED; crucially, it is only minimally a bipartisan effort.

Therein lies the danger of January 6. In 1972-74, PRINCIPLED people in both major parties acted to end it; BUT – it was the action by PRINCIPLED people in the perpetrator’s party that convinced him to resign.
The DANGER of the January 6 treason is that most major figures in the perpetrator’s party are not stepping forward as did their 1972-74 counterparts. In so doing, they become ACCOMPLICES to potential future damage. The CON MAN’s “true believers” accept the incredible lies. – indeed, many are running for election ON THE LIES.

After the Democratic Party led treason of the 1861-65 Civil War, only one Democrat was elected president until 1912. Numerous witnesses, many Republican, testified in chilling detail about how close the “United States of America” came to losing its democracy in a deliberately planned violent coup.

At this early point, with much ,ore evidence yet to come – there can be ABSOLUTELY. NO. DOUBT WHATSOEVER – ex-president Donald Trump and his enablers/followers intended, for the. FIRST. TIME. in American history, to remain in power by. ANY MEANS. NECESSARY.

By dictionary definition alone, for treason and sedition, The Trump camp is. GUILTY.

The January 6 committee has now repeatedly shown, with video evidence and testimony, those dictionary definitions have been fulfilled by the Trump camp.

As conservative judge J. Michael Luttig testified – much evidence continues to become visible that various people all over America, some running for office, some creating armed gangs, some creating incredible LIES, some accepting those LIES – intend to act on the fiction of the “stolen 2020 election.”
Those who witnessed Judge Luttig’s testimony will forever remember how emotional and difficult it was for him to say the things he was saying: that American democracy was in great peril.

Those running for office as “republicans” are often doing so in order to ensure “election integrity” – which for them means “Republican” victories only. They have passed many laws rigging elections already. They have issued kangaroo “court” decisions allowing this rigging to continue

All this, as Judge Luttig said, IN. PLAIN. SIGHT. They have announced their plans; they are campaigning on ‘election integrity.” If elected they aim to make sure nobody but “the right” “Republicans” win – by any means necessary.

Over the last 15 years, many former Republican officials and campaign operatives have tried to warn America, written books, made speeches. Some have written that, in order to save American democracy, the current “Republican” Party “needs to be burned to the ground” and documented why.

Many have said the current “Republican” Party is now a CULT. An evil con man, with a long history of playing by his own rules, of numerous bankruptcies and legal issues, of several thousand lawsuits, has told several millions what they want to hear, promised to give them a miracle. It was he who created the circumstances of January 6, 2021.
The Committee has produced evidence that this con man has scammed his followers out of over $250 million to supposedly “prove” his own lies>

It isn’t just the evil, the greed, the cruel selfishness of Donald Trump that scares patriots who’ve testified against him several times. It is the gullibility of so many good Americans who’ve trusted him, accepted his obviously false lies.
No historical villain has ever done his crimes alone. They’ve all had enablers and accomplices; had followers who became “true believers.”

A democracy is built on truth, must have truth to operate and survive. One of Trump’s biggest crimes is he’s brought the very concept of “truth” into doubt. The other BIG crime is he’s trashed the very idea of “democracy,” made a mockery of it.

Donald Trump is a cancer. He’s infected America with a fatal disease – one that not eradicated will kill us. He’s not Hitler, yet. But he is like Hitler. 37 psychiatrists and mental health experts contributed to “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump.” Trump failed the Army leadership test. He’s exhibited what some label “sociopathy.” White House personnel sought to limit the damage he could inflict. Some believed he was mentally deficient. Otherfs in his presence said they were scared by him.

Even now, with much more damning evidence to be heard – the task for people who care about American democracy should be very simple. Do what your ancestors did after the Civil War, what they did after the Great Depression – vote against the party that led America into those tragedies.
No “Republican” who supports Donald Trump, or his ideology and lies – should ever again be elected to ANY office in these United States. People in Congress, who ran for their lives and then voted in favor of the CON MAN – should be retired. Same for any “Republican” who spouts his lies, supports his DELUSIONS.

For 40 years, the “Republican” Party has become more reactionary, more destructive, more anti-democratic, more cruel, more corrupt. As long as this group has. ANY. power, America can not, will not, be a “democracy.”

There have been two major “modern” American eras: 1933-65 Roosevelt progressive era; 1980-2022 Reagan reactionary counter-revolution. Judge by INTENT. The intent of the Roosevelt era was to help “the forgotten man” – and it did. The intent [we have the quotes!] of the Reagan era has been to destroy the Roosevelt era improvements – considered to be “too good a deal” for the “undeserving” lower 90%.

Judge by “signature’ policies. The Roosevelt era produced Social Security, keeping people alive during the Great Depression, labor rights, G.I. Bill, civil rights, Medicare, creating the U.N. for world peace.
The Reagan era has produced attacks on labor, reverse Robin Hood tax cuts for the rich, blowing up the national debt, attempts to “privatize” Social Security, the Iran-contra scandal, the immoral Iraq war, corruption of the judiciary, gutting civil rights, “financialization” of the economy, not enforcing anti-trust laws, ending broadcast neutrality, and much more anti-democratic laws and works.

From 1789 to 1980, each generation of Americans almost always did better than their parents. Since 1980, that is in doubt. It is NOT an accident.

1] the economy. The signature reactionary right-wing [R-Ws] achievement and their Republican MOUTHPIECES is shifting the bulk of American wealth from the equitable 1947-73 “great compression” to the “winner-take-all” post-1980 “America.”
The first step was attacking labor unions, which reduced the incomes for ALL Americans. Then came the “outsourcing” of jobs anywhere ‘south” [which has now also created the supply chain crisis]. this also weakened national security, because “American” industry ISN’T – its in China [which wants to destroy America].
Reverse Robin Hood tax cuts for the rich [1980s, 2000s, 2017] cut taxes for the rich and – shifted the burden onto YOU – either in reduced services or regressive taxes like sales and property. Then there are the “Panama Papers,” the “Pandora Papers,” Swiss banking revelations, anonymous shell companies – all showing how the rich hide wealth so it can’t be taxed [do REAL research here, plus other nation’s research – a world-wide problem]
Then there are “private equity” firms LOOTING America. See “Mother Jones,” May & June, 2022 issue: “Looted.” There is much beyond this. YOU are paying more for housing and almost EVERYTHING because of the legal PIRATES.

R-Ws have succeeded transferring blame for 2022 America unto others because of their alternative universe of misinformation: media morons and internet idiots., some making $10-30 million annually to LIE to YOU. 3] changing the rules. Rules of 1947-73 were increasingly fair, more equitable. That allowed “average people” to live decently. This could not be allowed to continue – so the rich and corporations changed the rules. They attacked labor in every way possible to cut wages. they bribed Congress [“campaign contributions”]. They created their own federal judiciary [“business-friendly’ judges]. Most of all, they got their very own “supreme court – the McConnell/Roberts “court” has given them a 70% win rate. Anti-trust laws not enforced; major retailers allowed disproportionate market shares; most industries controlled by 2-3-4 players; entire American economy “financialized” – to satisfy Wall Street.

4] FEAR. “Normal” 1947-73 people didn’t live with the fear YOU do in 2022. We weren’t constantly bombed with “fear” propaganda about “them” who were “out-to-get-us.” There were fights – with fists. Guns didn’t outnumber people. We didn’t have the mass shooting of the day. We actually walked and biked without fear!!! Almost everywhere. Many places people didn’t lock their doors. Nobody had military style rapid fire guns that mutilated little kids. People didn’t “need” guns to “defend their family” because there was nothing to defend against Thus – we didn’t have a generation of school kids TRAUMATIZED by school shootings.

5] weaponizing religion. Since the mid-1970s, reactionary “religious right” has declared war on America. [Randall Terry: “Our goal is a Christian nation. We have a biblical duty..are called by God to conquer this country.”] These new Puritans are determined to “save” America – whether America wants it or not. They are VERY SERIOUS about creating a theocracy. They’ve voted Republican to achieve that. Republicans promised them “pro-life” judges [un-Constitutional]. The McConnell/Roberts “supreme court” is their reward. “Religious beliefs [by “supreme court” dictate] have become [for them] a “get-out-of-jail” card for virtually EVERYTHING, most especially discrimination and special carve-outs giving them above-the-law privileges. That all this violates not only Amendment One, but also the entire Founding Fathers generation’s principles and stated beliefs – means nothing to them – because the McConnell/Roberts “court” is busy destroying the principles of the Constitution [and lying about that too].

America has NEVER been perfect – it is after all, a magnificent experiment in human liberties – but strides were made, 1789-1980. Since 1980, America has been DELIBERATELY poisoned – by R-W forces determined to change America into what they want it to be: a PLUTOCRATIC. THEOCRACY.

Numerous people on the reactionary “right” have said, in public, in plain English, they intend to achieve this. Billionaire Warren Buffett: “There’s class warfare, all right, but its my class, the rich class, that’s making war, and we’re winning.” Pat Buchanan: 1992 Republican National Convention: “There’s a religious war going on in this country. It is a cultural war..for the soul of America.”

3/31/19 – a national network of mass shooting survivors are driving all over America, meeting with surviving relatives; they are trying to set up groups all over America, so people can be close to future shootings; survivors get crank calls and threats. [“60 Minutes”] Planning for “future shootings”??? Crank calls & death threats – for acts of mercy?

Of historical note: in the “old West,” cowboys were required to check their guns with the town marshal at the city limits. Town residents were tired of drunken cowboys shooting their towns up.

12/23/12 – a teacher who survived the 2005 Red Lake shooting quit her job; 7 years later still in therapy; she’d been 5 weeks in an Arizona therapy program after the shooting. [Grand Forks Herald; Haga]

March 25, 2021, Los Angeles Times article reports the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals z’said restrictions on carrying guns in public except for hunting do not violate the Second Amendment…Judge Jay Bybee, appointed by [Republican] President G.W. Bush, wrote for the [7-4] majority. He said a review of more than 700 years of American and English law showed that government has long had the power to regulate arms in public places. We have never assumed..individuals have..unfettered right to carry weapons in public spaces..” {“NEVER”}

May, 2022 – Uvalde, Texas: multiple reports from first responders indicate the children were so mutilated, DNA identification was required – because of the horrific effects on their little bodies from AR-15 rounds.

America DOES NOT. care about its children. No nation that did would allow the mass shooting of the day – knowing that children – since 1999 – have been traumatized, some so much they committed suicide; would accept COMIC BOOK bogus “solutions” which are non-solutions from “adults”; would put more value in a false belief than the actual well being of its children; would continue to elect politicians more afraid for their jobs then DOING THEIR JOBS; would say “nothing can be done”. in the face of civilized nations doing something; would spit in the face of traumatized teens asking for the gun controls the American public overwhelmingly supports; would continue to be the only “civilized” nation tolerating routine savagery in a country where NO PLACE IS SAFE.

Early May, 2022. The political-economic-social-religious divide in America is getting worse, seemingly by the hour. Why? The PRUDES’ revenge.

Since 1980, PRUDES on the political-economic-social-religious “right” have decided they don’t like how America was evolving. They decided to change the rules. Some analysts point to the 1971 “Powell Memo” as the starting gun, others say it just confirmed what was happening.

Powell advocated many things, all in fear America was changing for the worst. Corporations and others needed to act – everywhere – to change rules and opinions. Businesses had few “lobbyists” in Washington in 1970, by 1980 they had hundreds. “Religious right” PRUDES organized around opposition to loss of private schools tax exemptions [because of discrimination]; against women’s civil rights; against non-white civil rights; against gay civil rights.
Business changed rules by fighting [to the death] against labor unions – shipping American jobs to Mexico and Asia. The far right created their own legal organizations. “Religious right” PRUDES mobilized around the “pro-life” agenda [part of which ended when a child was actually born]. Reactionary billionaires funded it all.

THE key, THE shining jewel: control of the U.S. Supreme Court. From 1968 forward, PRUDES made this THE major emphasis. EVERY fact-based Supreme Court analysis points to one conclusion: the U.S. Supreme Court, few a few exceptions, has shifted increasingly radically far right since 1969.

Republican Court nominees are “vetted” by two groups: the right-wing leaning Federalist Society and “social conservatives.” Nobody gets on any federal court “short list” if not approved by these groups,
The most sensational proof of this is the effort by Republican president G.W. Bush to appoint Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court. PRUDES objected. A sitting Republican president was FORCED to rescind the nomination. Miers’ “crime’ was that she wasn’t PRUDE enough; didn’t have the required “paper trail” providing proof she vote the “expected way” on key issues for the PRUDES.
It gets even better – guess WHO was substituted for Miers??? None other than one Samuel Alito!!!!!!!!!!

PRUDES that created the current 6-3 “conservative!!!!!” “supreme court” majority demanded what Alito’s leaked anti-abortion draft provided. The consensus wisdom: at least 5 of those Republican “justices” were pit on the “court’ for this exact vote, and to provide other “business-friendly” and far-right “religious liberty” rulings. Put on the “court” to change the rules for America.

Perspective I: Chief Justice Marshall [“Bank of the U.S.”]: “A Constitution, from its nature, deals in generals, not detail. Its framers cannot perceive minute distinctions which arise in the progress of the nation, and therefore confine it to the establishment of broad and general principles.”

Perspective II: Charles Kimball [“When Religion Becomes Evil’}: “Christians who say they take the Bible literally are either ignorant or self-deluded. No one takes the Bible literally…literalist approach is further undermined by the act of translation. The Bible was written in Hebrew and Greek. The presence of nearly two dozen contemporary English translations points to the challenge of communicating the meaning and intent of the original text.”

Perspective III: Samuel Marcosson [“Original Sin Clarence Thomas and the Failure of the Failure of the Constitutional Conservatives’]: “originalist’s positions closer resemble Republican positions than Framers..; Originalism is a jurisprudence of deafness..; Originalism is the extreme case in which “the legal system: ‘ silences certain stories”;.. originalists have failed in their own terms..; almost endemic to the “originalists” – their inability to ignore their personal and political views when the original understanding conflicts with those views.” !!!!! This was written in 2002 – NOTHING HAS. CHANGED!!!!! {“their inability to ignore personal and political views” on cases before them]

Perspective IV: Chief Justice Roger Taney’s “Dred Scott” opinion: The Framers of the Constitution did not intend for Blacks to be citizens, and the Constitution “must be construed now as it was understood at the time of adoption.”
***!!!***!!!*** What is considered THE worst U.S. Supreme Court decision of all time [before 2022] was justified in “originalist” terms.. The same terms Alito relies upon: “abortion isn’t in the Constitution.”

Think on what would happen if we ran our lives on “originalist” terms: everything frozen forever in 1787-1791 terms – no cars, no TV, no central air/AC, no airplanes, no internet, no refrigerators, no electric lights, no modern sewage and water systems, most of YOU are living on farms using horsepower, most of YOU likely dead before age 50, many of YOU can’t read, or write……..
A literal Constitutional interpretation means all of the above – if we apply “originalism” theories across the board. WHY would we wish to do that???

1765-1789 Americans revolted against three things: a corporation [Boston Tea Party], a king, an established church.

An “established church” is a state church, THE official church – which several European nations had. Political leaders, Baptist preachers, evangelicals ALL DEMANDED an end to official religion>
Think on this: 1776-1800 state constitutions [please look them up] – in 8 states banned an active minister from serving in their government>. WHY did they do that? What does that tell YOU? 11 of the 13 colonies had an “established church.” By 1830 – ALL gone. WHY???

The PRUDES first victory came with the 1873 “Comstock Laws” – designed to control YOUR private behaviors. Reproductive tech and ALL printed matter on contraception were “obscene.” The inspiration behind these laws, Anthony Comstock was “Prudish, sanctimonious and often cruel..who considered any sex outside of marital reproduction to be a sin.” [Rebecca Davis; 5/13/22; L.A. Times]

The second victory for “public morality” came with the prohibition of alcohol, 1920-33. It led to widespread disrespect for law and the rise of organized crime.
Since 1970s, America has conducted a “war on drugs.” Largely a failure, it has led to massive corruptions and drug lords; also importation of fentanyl and other deadly drugs, many deaths. It remains the politicalization of a medical problem – which more sane nations have avoided

Perhaps the PRUDES’ final[??} and greatest victory is coming in 2022 courtesy of a stacked “supreme court” in defiance of overwhelming public support to retain “Roe” – to not trash only 50 years of “settled” law, but also many privacy issues.

Like earlier PRUDE victories, much anti-abortion rhetoric is couched in Biblical terms [“god says]. MAJOR problem: several other religions have said this would violate their religious freedoms. The 5 “supreme court’ PRUDES, relying on THEIR religious faith are adamant and defiant – THEIR HOLY MISSION requires this “sin” be outlawed.
America will now undergo yet another “prohibition.” Again, in the name of “morality imposed on 332 million by PRUDES. PRUDES who want to control YOUR life – on THEIR terms.
Against the expressed, repeatedly said, Founders’ intent, a religious MINORITY of PRUDES wants to dictate how YOU live YOUR life.

And it goes on elsewhere in America. All 9 members of the Texas Supreme Court are Republicans. They recently decreed Texas authorities could continue “abuse” probes against parents who are investigating their children’s desires to explore transgender medical treatment. Nobody takes this lightly. But Texas PRUDEs have decided THEY, not the children’s parents should determine what is best for that child. Cruelty personified.

Ask YOURSELF – why should 5 PRUDES – all raised in one fundamentalist church – get to vote on YOUR private personal life? Could ANYTHING be more un-American, more un-Constitutional???
Amendment I: “Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion..” This means – as the 1776-1800 state constitutions said, no on “any pretense whatsoever” would ANY governmental body in America EVER. dictate YOUR private life – on the basis of SOMEBODY ELSE’S RELIGIOUS BELIEFS. PERIOD. END OF DISCUSSION. NEVER.

What’s next? Will puritanical PRUDES of the “religious right” bring back public stoning, the dunking stool, the Scarlet Letter, religious kangaroo courts like 1692 Salem, or perhaps righteous people as vigilantes [ oops – too late, the PRUDES have already done that!!!]. What’s next?

Will PRUDES continue to censor what YOUR public library offers? Will PRUDES try to convince people evolution is “fake news” [in spite of COVID more dangerous because it evolved?] Will PRUDES continue to teach false history in private schools? Will PRUDES continue to sabotage real science and medicine?

Following on my notes from the 2054 Inspection of Trumpistan

l]. Our alliance with the Mexican drug lords has worked well. As far as I can tell, they have faithfully honored terms of our treaty. The decision to sell them back all of the land Mexico lost to the old “United States” cheaply has made them very grateful.
The loss of all that territory negatively impacted Trumpistan – especially California and Texas. It is highly unlikely this reduced country will ever be a threat to China.
Patrolling the border is being split between our troops, the drug lords, and the Mexican government.
Our decision to be ruthless has paid big dividends. People know if they attempt to enter Mexico’s new territory, they’ll not be successful.
The drought from climate change has also had a devastating impact on the old American Southwest, making it less attractive to people thinking of sneaking in.

2]. Our partnership with the Mexican drug lords has been extremely successful. Sales of fentanyl in Trumpistan have continued to increase. It looks the market share we acquired in the 2020 era has only increased.
The sale of fentanyl into this territory has had a devastating impact on their general public health – which continues to benefit China in many ways>

3]. Our strategy to let the old United States destroy itself has obviously worked. The Party was right! It used to amaze me, which I didn’t believe at first, but being here, seeing it – we won by just letting them kill themselves.
There were a number of factors in the decline and destruction of the old United States. Our trade advantage, beginning in 2000, weakened them and strengthened us.
***BUT, THE major, and deciding factor, was that internal division. From their own history sources, they talked about how divided they were by “social issues.” These non-military issues proved fatal.
The economic inequality that sabotaged their concepts of fairness kept getting worse, and more obvious. [*** note: we need to learn from this***]. Increasing numbers of people were struggling to pay their bills – which was made worse by all the manufacturing jobs they lost to China. The Party was right again!

4]. The Second American Civil War proved decisive. Hard for us Chinese to understand – but – a powerful nation dissolved itself because of a RELIGION-inspired civil war.
It began with the emotional issue of abortion – whether individuals would have control over their child creating procedures. Fo 50 years, they had allowed abortions in many ways. But a determined RELIGIOUS group slowly sabotaged it. The decisive point came in Summer, 2022, with a High Court ruling against liberalized abortion.
Protest built slowly, but after police repression in several Republican-controlled southern states, violence began to happen. It never really stopped. Apparently, from their records, about a 2-1 majority didn’t want the High court to change the abortion rules. But, they did it any way. People were enraged by that, which never ended.
From the 2024 election forward, the minority repressive side held power. Kangaroo courts put protestors away, executed some. The “conservative’ gov’t responded with more repression – which enraged the majority even more. The opposition party [Democrats] was outlawed, some of their leaders jailed or executed.

5] General physical destruction of the Civil War not only destroyed people’s homes but also their jobs. The economy really has “gone into the tank’ here. I can’t see how this nation will ever be strong again, certainly HIGHLY UNLIKELY t be a threat to China.
Other nations have been able to rebuild and become strong again after a civil war – but here that looks HIGHLY UNLIKELY. The anger and resentment of the vast majority, because of the RELIGIOUS cause – makes one think of the Middle East and India-Pakistan. Time may tell differently, but at this point there is too much distrust and anger.
And, of course, all the “re-education” and prison camps will not be forgotten or forgiven. I saw the same things in my tours of the Middle East and in the India-Pakistan region.

6] The old Ukrainian leader, Volodymyr Zelensky, died here in prison. I didn’t know it, but after the Western opposition to the Russian Federation crumbled after the old U.S.A. internal problems disaster. Zelensky was secretly sent here to die in prison.
A more authoritarian Trumpistan gov’t began to work more closely with the Russian Federation. That also benefitted China.

7] The Trumpistan economy is to a very large extent controlled by Walmart and Amazon. Walmart told me they intend to keep importing Chinese products, even lesser quality than Chinese people will accept. The economic insecurity of the majority here is so severe it means they’ll only look for the cheapest products.

8]. The richest people here are more than willing to work with us – as long as their wealth is protected. I see no need to challenge that – let sleeping dogs lie! it won’t hurt us, and the obvious example of some living like royalty when the vast majority are struggling only helps keep this country divided.
Much irony – and humor from our standpoint – a major focus of the opposition to the Russian Federation war against Ukraine was to punish the Russian “oligarchs.” Here – after the old U.S.A. dissolved itself – the Trumpistanian oligarchs have maintained their privileged status!

9] Canada has maintained its neutrality on this issue. I don’t see them changing that. The dissolution of the old U.S.A. was a MAJOR eye-opener for Canada, which is a moderate country, but was/is, in some ways, more “liberal” than the old U.S.A..
The abrupt, and drastic, political shift to Trumpistan was, in some ways, traumatic for Canada. Their border with the old U.S.A. was largely on a very friendly basis, because, in many ways, Canada and the old U.S.A. were similar.
Everything changed for Canada with regard to the old U.S.A. after the 2024 election. They were, still are, shocked by what happened here – the concentration camps, the bogus trials, executions, repressive laws, etc.
Canadians had a difficult time understanding the basis for all this: RELIGION; and how much a radical interpretation of religion, which had been much like many of their own religions.
Remember; Canada liberalized its own abortion laws in 1988, so it was a major shock when the old U.S.A. went the other way. They get constant reminders because tens of thousands of women are attempting to get abortions there.

Would you buy a used car from Samuel Alito?

Some of the outrage over Alito’s “draft” anti-democratic anti-abortion screed has become LAUGHTER, derision, and embarrassment.
When legitimate, mainstream, fact-based historians, legal, constitutional experts [people existing in the non-R-W alternative universe] began taking Alito’s “scholarship” apart – they found numerous distortions, lies, omissions.
Had this been a “senior paper,” a Master’s thesis, a Ph D dissertation – it would have been covered with red marks, and a “do this over” command.
It is embarrassing for American law to have such a shabby product put forward as the basis for a major “supreme court” decision. The LAUGHTER and derision come from disbelief that anyone would take such “reasoning” seriously.
One law professor said Alito’s paper looked like “a cut and paste job.”

I. NEVER FORGET – this is ALL about imposing some people’s religious belief. This is about “When Religion Becomes Evil ” [Charles Kimball] Among “The Five Warning Signs of Corruption in Religion” are absolute truth claims; the end justifies any means [murdering doctors, blowing up health facilities, terrorizing people, harassing women, electing un-Constitutional judges].
Without fundamentalist religions pushing anti-abortion law, NONE of what has happened since 1973 would have occurred. This has been a RELIGIOUS WAR AGAINST THE AMERICAN PUBLIC.

II. Alito states: “..a right to abortion is not deeply rooted in the nation’s history and traditions.” FALSE!!!!! Abortion has existed “for thousands of years” around the world, and so have contraceptives. The first American anti-abortion law was Illinois’ 1827 law – 50 years AFTER “The United States of America” began. Midwives were practicing both.
Historian Leslie Reagan: in 1857 the newly formed America Medical Association [men] “initiated a crusade to make abortion at every stage of pregnancy illegal.” They wanted to take control of childbirth away from female midwives. Some members felt middle class “Anglo-Saxon” women were not having as many kids as Catholic immigrants and people of color [shades of Nazi Germany].

III. In September, 2021, “justice” Barrett said: “This court is not comprised of a bunch of partisan hacks.” “justice’ Alito complained in October, 2021, that critics were accusing the Republican appointee majority of being “a dangerous cabal that resorts to sneaky and improper methods to get its way.”
After that, people quoted Ralph Waldo Emerson: “The louder he talked of his honor, the faster we counted our spoons.”Others quoted Shakespeare’s Queen Gertrude: “The lady doth protest too much, me thinks.”

Some remembered Justice Louis Brandeis: “If we desire respect for the law, we must first make the law respectable.”

In an earlier confirmation hearing, a Democratic Senator was ripped by Repubs for raising questions about Barrett’s religion possibly influencing her decisions. Repubs: prejudice!, unfair!
For perspective, read Linda Greenhouse’s “Justice on the Brink.” The prologue: “The Chosen One” describes this, and an op-ed by a “prominent Catholic law professor: “No, Diane Feinstein is NOT an anti-Catholic Bigot.”

At her confirmation hearing, Barrett: “..I’m standing before the committee today saying that I have the integrity to act consistently with my oath..”
In 2013, she signed a “pro-life” statement in the Notre Dame student newspaper. In 2012, she signed a statement critical of the Obama ACA contraceptive coverage. In 2015, she signed a “letter”pledging “fidelity to..doctrines of the Catholic church.” In 2016, she supported a unanimous “University Faculty for Life” resolution condemning Notre Dame’s decision to give Vice President Joe Biden the “Laetare Medal”, awarded to an American Catholic for “outstanding service to Church and society.” In 2006, she signed an anti-abortion newspaper ad calling for “an end to the barbaric legacy of Roe v. Wade.” Would a “reasonable” person ask if her faith might influence her judicial votes?

IV. Since 1789, 16 people raised Catholic have been Supreme Court justices. Since 1982 – 8 of those have been nominated by Republican presidents. Would a “reasonable” person be OK asking if this is “Just a coincidence?”
Recent 2022 polling shows only on American religious group – 69% – saying abortion should be outlawed in most cases” white evangelical Protestants [THE major Republican voting base]
A May 9, 2022, Associated story quoted leaders of Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Sikhism saying their faith allowed them to support a woman’s choice. One said: “One particular political agenda is infringing on my religious and personal freedom [lst Amendment]. Another: “The..community is very clear that no religious or political authority should be deciding this issue [what 1776-1800 state constitutions said].”
Major right-wing Protestant figures said in the 1970s that they were supporting the ‘pro-life” position to attract Catholic voters.
The Founding Fathers, repeatedly, in many ways, said they were against politicalization of religion. Religious corruption/division of America was one of their four main fears.

V. What’s next??? The McConnell/Roberts “court” has ALREADY twisted the 2nd Amendment – altering 216 years of Court rulings and Founding documents [see 1792 Militia Acts]. They have ALREADY twisted the lst Amendment – calling virtually ALL human activities “speech” – including money laundering; they have used the “free exercise” clause to attack the “establishment” clause – against the oft announced Founders’ intent of “separation of church & state.”
The McConnell/Roberts “court” is rated THE most “business-friendly” since 1945 – giving corporations whatever they want 70% of the decisions.
“justice” Alito claims “..no such right [abortion] is implicitly protected by any constitutional provision.” Definitions of “implicit”: l. implied, rather than expressly stated; 2. potentially contained.
If we take Alito at his word [by definition] – “implied” – that means the Constitution itself would support what Alito says it doesn’t. Also – Amendment IX: “The enumeration of certain rights shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.” Again – “abortion doesn’t have to be specifically listed – as Alito says it does!
“Corporation,” “Woman,” “sex” are NOT in the Constitution. Does this mean by Alito’s logic – none of these are guaranteed? Nor is “privacy” there. – BUT a entire list of Supreme Court rulings say it IS in there.
The Supreme Court has GIVEN corporations numerous “rights.” Logic would say others [Amendment IX] also deserve the same consideration. Unless, of course, the Founders didn’t think sex was important.
Amendments I, III, IV, IX all contain elements of that “most valued of all rights” – “the right to be let alone>”

VI. What’s next, II? Repubs in state and federal governments have ALREADY pass, are considering, OTHER infringements of YOUR privacy rights – whether “Roe” is invalidated or not.
Far right adherents of “originalism’/”textualism” [literal word-by-word parsing] don’t like “privacy.” It leaves “too much” of YOUR life beyond their control. They want, NEED, to “save” YOU from your “sins.”
Thus – a prime target of R-W wrath is abortion medication. Noises are ALREADY being made of “the necessity” to search or intercept YOUR mail!!!
There will be a “need’ to control marriage – to ensure the “wrong” kind of people don’t get married.
Far right noises are ALREADY being made of ‘THE NECESSITY” to prevent YOU from traveling to a free state to obtain abortion or contraceptives – and to prosecute providers in OTHER states.
Missouri is considering allowing its residents to sue ANYONE in ANY state who helps a Missouri resident [escape] to a free state to get an abortion.
Louisiana legislators moved along a bill that would define a fertilized egg as a full person [check mainstream biologists or medical people on this one!!!]
Texas law [2021] allows people in OTHER states sending abortion medication through the U.S.mail to be extradited to face felony charges.
Mississippi’s governor “refused to rule out..possibility his state would ban certain forms of contraceptives.”
The “wrong” kind of people have ALREADY been denied ability to adopt a child by various “faith-based’ groups.

VII. What’s next, III – The Rehnquist, and especially the McConnell/Roberts “court’ have severely weakened “Separation of church & state” that was THE intent of Amendment I, and the express intent of 1776-1800 state constitutions.
4 states prohibited a “religious test” for office [Article VI]. 8 states prohibited an active minister serving in their government!!! Nearly every state had language that expressly prohibited “an established church” [Amendment I] – and much demanding language [ not “on any pretense whatsoever’].
The Rehnquist and McConnell/Roberts “court” have allowed, in several decisions, YOUR tax money to be GIVEN a church or church school [banned by laws 0f 38 states, Amendment }.
Now they have the “Carson v. Makin” Maine case that could make a rural Maine district the generalized law for all 13,800 American public school districts – GIVING YOUR TAX MONEY to a church you DON’T attend.

VIII. It WON’T end with “Roe” being trashed. The religious right network and their hand picked fundamentalist “judges” have numerous other ideas to achieve what numerous R-W leaders have said isTHE goal: an American theocracy.
Randall Terry: “Our goal is a Christian nation. We have a biblical duty..are called by God to conquer this country.”

When the law professor said Alito’s anti-abortion draft was written by “people on a mission,” he nailed it. The 5 far right Republican religious zealots ARE ON “the court” to achieve the result they’re “expected” to provide.

Remember what Kimball said in “The five Warning Signs..”: the Holy Mission requires “the [desired] end justifies any means.” Subverting the U.S. Constitution is acceptable. America “needs” to be “cleansed” of its “sin” of allowing people to manage their own reproductive choices. “The mission’ doesn’t permit that.

This is why “justice” Thomas said he and the other “pro-lifers” on the “court” will not be “bullied” by any of the 332 million Americans whose lives would be affected, and have the gaul to object. This is why Alito said the Holy Five would not be prevented from “finishing their work.” This is why the Holy Five “prevaricated” in their hearings [a righteous end justifies the means}.

If their “expected” invalidation of “Roe’ causes violence, if people get killed, buildings blown up – in protest against this un-American, 100% un-Constitutional ruling – so be it. The Holy Five accomplished “their mission.” The “sin” of Americans making the “wrong’ private choice about their family and personal life couldn’t be allowed to continue.

*** Bulletin – July 10, 2022 – The McConnell “court’ announced it’s verdicts. “Roe” is dead, for “national security”reasons as well as “defective and improper reasoning.” The New York state law regulating guns in public invalidated. “Christians” are given the right to pray anywhere, any time. The history of anti-abortion politics in America is laced with female subjugation and white supremacy – fears that women and non-whites would “leave their place” – and be “uppity.”

Don’t just read this – take every one of the BIG LIES above – do real historical/factual research – which means beyond the internet. Find the true reality. What happened from the Repub’s 1980s, 2000s, 2017 Reverse Robin Hood tax cuts? They blew up the National Debt. Nearly all benefits went to the rich and corporations.
Reagan’s Budget Director told America: it was all a FRAUD they invented. When Reagan took office, the 1789-1980 U.S. national debt was under $1 trillion – now around $30 trillion!
Money that COULD have been put into public schools, infrastructure, safety net programs, R & D, public health, 21st century energy independence – instead went into the pockets of billionaires – who have used that money to live like royalty, and sabotage the American Dream and political system.

Deregulation gave YOU the 2008 Crash – which gave the lower 95% misery. For a few years, post-2008, ALL increased American wealth went into the hands of the top 1% – not counting the Wall Street bonuses from YOUR tax dollars.

Immediate analysis of Alito’s Anti-Abortion Abomination described it thus”

– Jesse Wegman: “The Court is Out of Step With the Country”. [what polls said]
– Adam Liptak: “Decades-Old Arguments From Right Finally Find a Majority to Adopt Them”
– Elizabeth Weise: “Pregnancy-related Deaths could soar 20%”
– Duke law professor Neil Siegel: “It reads like it was done by people on a mission.”

Ask YOURSELF: WHY did they say these things? Look up their arguments. What did Siegel mean. by “people on a mission”? What does Liptak mean by “decades-old arguments from the right”? WHY does Wegman say “the court is out of step with the country”? WHY does Stephens say “overturning Roe is not conservative”? WHY did Weise say more women – maybe YOUR wife, sister, daughter – are going to die?????

Put Alito in context. WHY is he on the “court”??? What did some of his pre-“court” colleagues say about his judicial conduct? What has been the IMPACT of Alito’s votes, on REAL people?

The Constitution’s Preamble states “WE the people [made this Constitution] to “establish Justice, ensure domestic Tranquility..promote the general Welfare..”
If you examine “justice” Alito’s “supreme court” rhetoric and votes – in what ways has he “established Justice and promoted the general Welfare”? Or – has he been destructive of the same?

“justice” Alito has voted for enabling political corruption [Citizens United], has voted against fair elections [Shelby County], enabled a corporation to discriminate because of its religious beliefs [Hobby Lobby], voted to increase “gun rights” twice [Heller}, voted to force YOU to subsidize a church YOU don’t attend [Espinoza].
How does ANY of this “promote the general Welfare” of all 332 million Americans???

The general PATTERN of the McConnell/Roberts “court” has been one of rewarding the “wish list of the Repubs voter base. Invalidating “Roe” is just the most sensational of that PATTERN.
The McConnell/Roberts “court” is authoritarian. Fiver committed literalist authoritarians on it are now poised to do ANYTHING THEY WANT. And – they don’t want to hear any complaints while they go about “their work.”

A remaining question: when will women be forbidden to drive, walk around i public without a proper male escort, go out in public without a burqa? When are ALL contraceptives banned? When does the McConnell/Roberts “court” say YOU have NO right to privacy? When are gays going to be declared untermenschen? When is ALL sex outside marriage banned? When is sex only for conceiving children?
When do the “morality police” arrest YOU for your illegal behavior???

Invalidating “Roe” is to cross the Rubicon. It’ll be easier for the McConnell/Roberts “court” to accomplish other things on the “pro-life”, corporate agenda. The hints are there in earlier failed attempts at “reforms” [*** ‘reforms’ is another R-W BIG LIE; these ‘reforms” usually are a step back to repression].
After “Roe” is gone, so is an entire line of earlier Supreme Court rulings about personal rights. The ENTIRE American arc of freedom is based on being “let alone.” If. YOU. don’t control YOUR private sex life – YOU have NO rights. As in any other dictatorship – the “state” will OWN. YOU. Just like in the days of slavery, YOUR. master owned YOUR children, as he owned YOU.

“Dred Scott” ruled slaves weren’t people. The McConnell/Roberts “court” is poised to say YOU aren’t free.
