Democracy is fragile. Democracy depends on “the rule of law,” NOT “rule BY law.” Democracy depends on norms, restraints, toleration, decency, respect for others, and as the U. s. Constitution’s Preamble says: American government was created to “..establish Justice…promote the general Welfare.” “Promote the general Welfare”. means that U.S. government policies, rhetoric MUST benefit ALL 330 million citizens – not just a select few.
The Founders established a government of separation of powers. No one branch was to control everything. The Trump-Musk KAKISTOCRACY intends to control EVERYTHING.
